all the best's bedroom contest was a smashing success! and while this room didn't win, we love the look (especially on a day when we've learned a good friend is expecting...and family too...and over the weekend we met a friend's new little bundle of joy). bright, fresh and can grow with her and she gets older. and bleecker here is always a sucker when quadrille fabric is involved.

not one to rest on our laurels, we took the opportunity last week to revamp and improve our customer experience at b+b. so many of you love our stationery but sometimes lack the time to carefully go through all our loose samples and custom albums. to make things easier and share the beauty of letterpress with everyone, we now have six displays that feature each of our major brands. on the other side of the store, we have reorganized all of our gift selection and greeting cards. we invite you to stop by and see for yourself!

so it's been waaaaay too long since i posted! i know, i know! this whole getting-married-getting-the-flu-getting-ready-for-holiday stuff has thrown a major kink in my posting abilities. but while i was out a few blogs have launched that need recognition. numero uno on that list is unabashedly prep, photographer fred egan's take on the prep lifestyle. he was kind enough to inlcude me in one of his posts, so without further ado, hustle over to unabashedly prep and see what fred's all about. i guarantee you'll be amazed with his photography and unique passion for modernizing tried and tested prep looks.

we're back!

what a summer! it has been full of weddings, joy, vacations and even an engagement! now that we're back at it, let's start with a new favorite site of miss byrd's: saipua. beautiful flowers in loose arrangments and rich colors. and did we mention they make soap?

judd apatow and leslie mann's daughters are criminally adorable. best of all, they are dressed like little girls should be...sweet, fresh and all-american. (just like our other favorite set of sisters, malia and sasha.) big sister maude and little sister iris attended the funny people premiere with mom and dad. or should we say mom and dad attended with them.
